Who are Oleaq?

Oleaq was founded to bridge the gap between wine lovers and ethical winemaking. Traditional wine markets can be exclusive, often overlooking sustainability and fair trade. Through her deep passion for wine and commitment to sustainability, Ndapewa, the founder, built Oleaq to tell the stories behind ethically sourced wines, connect people through shared experiences, and educate businesses on integrating sustainable wine into their offerings.

Oleaq believes that wine is more than just a drink. It is an experience, a connection to the land, it creates community.

Project Goals

Back in 2022 we created the initial Oleaq website as a starting point when Ndapewa had a vision but wasn't exactly sure where to take it. As the business gained clarity the website needed to evolve. Our goal was to create a website that:

• Established Oleaq as a trusted name in sustainable wine.
• Made it clear how Oleaq supports both wine lovers and businesses.
• Created a place to post content, that encouraged connections.
• Positioned Ndapewa as a thought leader in the space.

The Process

1. Research & Planning

First we needed to fully understood what had changed in the brand values and direction since the first website. We focused on building a strong foundation and ensuring the website clearly communicated Oleaq’s mission and what they could offer to customers.

2. Design & Copy

We then planed to refine the messaging, add services, and refresh the visuals to align with Oleaq’s newly defined customers. We focused on storytelling to showcase the impact of ethical winemaking, and clearly present Oleaq’s services.

3. Build & Training

The final site was designed as a tool that supports Oleaq’s long-term growth positioning Ndapewa as an authority in the industry and helping her connect with the right people. We also provided training so she could add blogs and make small updates on her own.
